Our AI processes message content to generate automated responses. Message data may be used to improve our AI models, but we do not share your specific conversation data with third parties. You can opt out of AI model improvement in your account settings.

13. Shopify Integration

If you install SendHub from the Shopify App Store, we act as a data processor for Shopify-sourced data on your behalf. This section describes how we handle that data and meet Shopify's privacy requirements.

Shopify data we collect

  • Shop information — shop domain, plan, currency, scope grants, and OAuth access tokens (encrypted at rest)
  • Product catalog — titles, descriptions, variants, prices, inventory, tags — synced via Shopify webhooks (products/create, products/update, products/delete)
  • Order data — order number, customer email/phone, line items, fulfillment status, tracking — synced when you enable order-based automations
  • Checkout data — abandoned-cart contact info — only synced when you enable abandoned-checkout automations
  • Back-in-stock subscriber records — customer contact, product/variant — only when a customer subscribes via your storefront

How we use Shopify data

  • Generate AI responses informed by your product catalog and recent orders
  • Trigger automations (order updates, abandoned cart recovery, back-in-stock, etc.) that you have enabled
  • Display analytics, sync status, and revenue attribution in the SendHub dashboard

Shopify GDPR mandatory webhooks

Shopify requires every app to respond to three privacy webhooks. SendHub implements all three:

  • customers/data_request — within 30 days, we return a JSON export of any contact, conversation, and message data we hold for the identified customer within your business scope
  • customers/redact — within 30 days, we redact the named customer's personal data: contact name, email, phone, message content, and order PII (email/phone)
  • shop/redact — 48 hours after you uninstall SendHub from your Shopify store, we erase your Shopify-sourced data (shop record, cached products, cached orders, back-in-stock subscriptions). SendHub-side data (conversations, contacts, business account) is retained per the policy above unless you also delete your SendHub account.

Shopify-related subprocessors: Cloudflare (hosting), Railway (Shopify app hosting), Supabase (database), Meta/WhatsApp (message delivery), Anthropic/Google (AI inference).
